Copper Canyon Moto Lodge

The Copper Canyon Moto Lodge is owned and operated by Justin Lopez and family. The 6 room lodge is located in the clean mountain town of Cerocahui. Each room has it’s own private bath, 2 double beds and wood burning stove.  We will be putting on “Summer Camps” for motorcycle enthusiasts. The objective will be to polish up or improve your off-road riding skills. We start off on the basic roads of the area, and from there daily move up a level on the difficulty. We will cover: stream crossings, off camber turning, rock ledges and about anything you could encounter in the back country.  Each day we will be served authentic Mexican food by my in laws in the town of Cerocahui.  The summer time in the mountains is the rainy season, which provides beautiful

late afternoon showers.  This will limit the riding to the early afternoon but will allow us to relax in the evenings. The lodge is also open to the public, if you are planning a solo trip through the area, allow us to serve you. We are motorcycle friendly people and will have bike parts on hand like tires, tubes, shift levers, JB weld and have access to welders. Our knowledge of the area is some of the best, so stop by and see us if you are in the area.  We also can provide emergency recovery and support truck service. It is also a good place to bring the family, if your wife doesn’t ride, that’s all right, there is plenty of hiking and horse back riding to do.  Or your other half may be interested in some other courses we offer like:

The Mexican kitchen - a few days to learn how to make those great salsas, tacos, tortillas and other dishes.

Mexican Herbs - the locals use a wide variety of natural herbs to cure about any problem, come find out how to make creams, shampoos, vapor rubs and a number of teas from local plants.

Spanish 101 - Have you been wanting to practice on your Spanish? Well there is no better way to “brush up” than to been in direct contact with locals and families. You can take it to the level you want, submerge yourself in all Spanish or just practice what you know and learn a little more.

Check back here soon for photos of the finished product. We will also have dates and prices posted for the “Summer Camp”, but any one interested please contact us at info@rosensrides.com or e-mail Justin directly at justin@io.com.  We cater to all groups small or large, so contact us and we will work something out.
